Hello again.  Today is a Thursday which means it is the day the market comes to town.  When I say market, I mean two stalls. They sell clothes in one and fresh vegetables flowers and plants in the other.  Because today is so windy the man with the clothes stall did not come.  I think he was afraid they would all blow away and if it rained as well that would be a disaster.

Max is leaving us on Saturday and we will be sorry to see him go.  His Mum gets back from America on Friday and will meet him at Frankfurt Airport on Saturday.

We all went to see 'Flushed Away' yesterday but we did not find it very funny.  We did not think it was as funny as the Wallace and Grommit films,  'Flushed Away, was made by the same people you see. That's all today, bye for now

Today was a busy day, Granny and I played Bridge this afternoon with 10 friends and they had tea and cake in the afternoon.  It took all yesterday and this morning to get everything ready, we had to take some of  the furniture in the dining room and lounge into the garage and all the bits and pieces were hidden away in drawers and cupboards.  Granny says she can never find anything after the visitors have gone because Grandpa can hide things away that are never found again.

You know that I walk Bramble every night around midnight and I love it.  There is never, or almost never, anyone about and I enjoy the stars and the sea on the shore and the feeling that I am the only person awake.  However, last night my new torch picked out what I thought were diamonds in the sand, almost near where the sea was lapping on the shore.  Guess what,  when I got closer,  it was a large fox with shining eyes glinting in the torchlight.  What a surprise!  Bramble chased him off and enjoyed the fun.  So did I but it must have been scary for the fox.

You know this is January, everyone knows that, but usually it is cold cold cold but strangely enough it was a lovely sunny day today and Granny and I were outside without need of a coat.

Well,  tomorrow Granny and I are going to have lunch at a very nice restaurant which looks on to the sea so that she has a rest away from the busy time she had over Christmas.  That will be fun
